Anybody use a PAF Pro in the bridge of a Les Paul?
I should also say that this is a very thick sounding guitar. Even unplugged, it's very full sounding.
from what I have played that pickup in and what a LP does in tone, it sounds like a great combo on paper. Especially with the thickness that axe has.
I installed a PAF Pro into my Les Paul just now, played around with it for about 20 minutes.
So far not impressed at all, sounds like a single coil with a fuzz pedal on, really, REALLY grainy.
bassy but not thick, trebly but not snappy, I'll play around with the hex screws and height for a while, but it is NOT good so far
Did you put this in the neck position in your LP or bridge?
Neck, I have a Norton in the bridge
