I am so confused....The G&L is a carved top and the neck feels great, lean and mean. Already have a Les Paul and a Telecaster so don't know what to do just now...sister threw too much at me all at once, not used to be overwhelmed by gear.

Are you trying to say there's a limit on the number of guitars you own?

I'm up to 14 right now and building a 15th. LOL

Lace Sensor opinion. After two days of listening to primarily clean tunes have decided that I like the Lace middle and neck much better then my long time favorite Texas Specials. However, the Texas Special bridge sounds much better to me than the Lace. So now have a hybrid Strat with TS bridge, Lace Sensor middle and neck. Am really delighted with this odd set up.

In my opinion, a Strat *needs* at least one magnet-pole single; the pull of the polepieces seems to affect the sustain of the string and cause the other pickups to be more Strat-like.
