LOL, the thing sounds amazing and it just looks stunning!!! I literally just got it about 45mins ago so I can't give it much of a review yet but my first impression is that she & I are going to have a long & happy relationship together! Hopefully for years to come...
With my Holy Grail running through the loop it kinda reminds of a Twin Deluxe but with twice the gain on tap & oddly enough twice the headroom as well??? I know that sounds oxymoronic, or perhaps just moronic, but I don't know how else to word it? It stays nice and clean up till about 12:00-12:30 & then it starts breaking up. Once it gets started it seems to get quite gainny quite fast & by 4:00 it's nearly too much! At least for the type of gain it throws out, plus I'm also running a E.Q. pedal so that's pushing it a little harder than normal as well... Anyhow, a 6505 it's not but for Hard Rock, Blues, Exc., I think it's going to be perfect!!!
I will write a better & more in depth review once I've had a chance to run some different guitars, cabinets, & effects through it. I've only had a chance to run it @ 4ohms through my old 68 Fender 2X12 so far but she sounded pretty sweet!!!
I'm working on another 2X12 right now (that will hopefully become the LOCO's permanent cabinet) but the cab is currently wired in series for a 16ohm mono load with two 8ohm drivers, so I've got to switch the wiring from series to parallel & put in two 16ohm speakers. I'm planning on making it a Vintage-30/Creamback combination cab, which is I.M.H.O. the Holy Grail of all 2X12 speaker combinations!!!
