I converted my SG neck pickup to 4 conductor, and wired it paralell and seires with a push pull pot. I also flipped the magnet to get out of phase with the bridge bucker, when in the middle position. The push pull pot is the neck volume pot.
When the neck pot is pulled out to get paralell and I am in the middle position out of phase, I only get the real thin quack when the volume knobs of both pickups are right up at 10. Even the slightest turn down, takes me right out of that quack. Is this normal?
