I prefer the low-gain setting from the other thread. But this is actually a pretty acceptable ACCEPT/Tyran Pace type of tone.

Me too Ben. I rarely use the high gain mode on the distortron. I am remedying that with a new booteek pedal this week to handle stuff the Distortron in BOR mode will not. I.e tighter 2204/2205 type gain.
Yeah..i suppose with areal mic and player the high gain distortron would do that kinda thing in the yootoob vid.
