Pearly Gates bridge with 250 K pots

Any body try this... Would this tame the treble a bit???

I use a 250k tone pot on my LP's bridge position Pearly Gates.

Is the Pearly Gates really that bright? Brighter than say a '59?

I use them in my Strats with 250k pots. My favorite setup in a Strat.

Hmmmm....I thought the 59 was a bit more nasal. the pearly gates may be smoother, but it does have more top.
