Are there other colours thant this bright white on the PG+? Anyone tried it with a A3?

It is not bright white, or at least it is somewhat darker than the standard duncan white. Its formal name is parchment if my memory serves me right. Check this link to see a pic. The bridge is my 8.75K PG+' and the neck is a duncan white 8.10K PGb with an a3 magnet. Parchment matches much better than the fender white pickguards.

Yes, I have tried it with an a3 magnet. I end up liking mine more with its stock a5 mag. It might be because mine is 8.75K.

BTW, I remember my Bro John (StratDeluxer) having one measuring 8.20K. So this hotness is not very consistent. You gotta be lucky! ;)

And a final note: All the PG+'s have STANDARD SPACING as Benjy said. It was first developed by Duncan to match better with the tx special single coils which have quite an output. Do a search, and you'd find Evan's post about this.

it is a Trembucker.as lew said, they are made by SD for fender heheheheheheehe.

American Standard Strat trems have narrower spacing than vintage strat trems. This narrow spacing matches up perfectly with Duncan's standard spaced 'buckers.

Imagine that, a Fender without the need for tremspacing. ;)

Re: Pearly gates plus! hot or not?

I have the Pealy Gates Plus in my Strat with a maple neck/fret board. It is a bit brighter than the 59's in my Les Paul, however I don't believe they are too bright. It cuts through the mix nicely and still doesn't give you the ice-pick in the ear sound.

Re: Pearly gates plus! hot or not?

Remember, maple fingerboard strats are only bright because of the thick
finish on them. A newer one with the satin finish might not be so bad.
