Peavey classic 30 or Laney vc30 what would you recommend?

im looking to enter tube world and id like to try both these amps. i play metal in the way of arch enemy and opeth. with that in mind but also for allround tone which is the better amp?

you better have some heave distortion pedal, cos i cranked the peavey at the store before and it passes out around the area of bit more agressive ac/dc ish type of distortion

(gain/drive at 10 and volume at 7)

it's not a metal amp

i dont have any experience with the laney

ive got a metalzone. but i wasnt expecting great results from it

Both amps are suited more for classic rock vintage type tones if ure gonna get one ul need a overdrive pedal to push the amps front end to get a metal tone.

The Laney LC 30 is similar but will be more suitable for what your playing. If your going in tthe laney direction.
