Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

What made you decide to burn the wood?? How did you burn it without turning to kindling?? torch? After seeing this and Lil pigbacon's board (She's a young lady BTW, unless my wife is right and I am a tard) Im rethinking my next build to slats like that. My most recent is two solid levels. there is a gap in between for cables for bottom row and top row goes around back..

Nicely done!!

Thanks. I did use a Propane torch and got it just hot enough to burn the exterior. No flames involved. I am going to use it at church so I didn't want the ORDINARY BLACK board like everyone else has. Just something different. All I have tied up in it money wise is basically $50. 30 for the Velcro and 20 for the LEDs and switch. Thanks again.

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

There are many things about me that might be misconstrued, but my love of fine pedalboards needn't be one of them.

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

Wait -- what?

If Im incorrect, Im sooo sorry! I coulda sworn you posted pics once and were a gal with dirtyblond hair (was in a pony tail I think) and glasses. Cuz up to that point, I thought you were a dude. And the name Jessie (which of course could be used for either gender. Again, my apologies.. Color me embarrassed.

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

What kind of LED strips are those and how are they wired?

I actually went to our local Walmart and got them from the automotive section. They're are 2 strips in a pack. I left them connected to the battery pack that came with them and wired them to a soft feel on/off switch from radio shack and attached them with Velcro as well.

I hear my train-a-wreckin'.

Probably JOLLY en route to a fancy dress party.

'Fess up, Piggy. Have you gone under the knife?

And the name Jessie (which of course could be used for either gender.)

A character from one of LP's favourite television shows, I believe.

Sorry it took so long. I completely forgot about it the other day. This is a simple diagram on how the switch is wired up. It's a SPST Soft Feel On/Off switch from radio shack. The LEDs I got from my local Walmart in the automotive custom lighting section.

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

Its ok man, no problem at all.. I understand! thank you for following through! very cool!

Re: Pedal board build (Pallet Wood)

Is it okay if I have questions about the wiring diagram?
