Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

See - if you like the one sound (mostly) each of those makes - great. But My list can sound like that - and a whole lot more!

More is not always better.

Just because you guys don't have the tools or skills to work on the big equipment….

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

In all seriousness as far as flexibility goes I could take the MOOG MF-108M over the Chorus Factory. The MOOG has 6 unique selectable LFO shapes that gives you 6 unique jumping off points for a chorus setting. The RATE and AMOUNT allow you to further explore your options. The big plus IMO is the MOOG sounds much better, I have tried the Chorus Factory it is not a bad pedal but the MOOG sounds as you would say amazeballs. Flip the FLANGE/CHORUS switch and you have the same options with your flange tones.

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

That, or any of the Moog pedals, are some DEEP boxes!

I just want to pick "Small Clone" and go Nirvana or "TC" and go 80's metal.

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

What is an ultra flexible Phaser guys? One that can get 45/90/script/block/EHX, and more????

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

DigiTech doesn't make a Phaser Factory?

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

I would have to once again defer to MOOG. As Ace point out the Factory stomps are set it and forget options. But as you switch from a TC to a Small Stone you will have to dial it in a bit as you would the MOOG. the Digitech X series Phase is the Hyper Phase it is $70 vs the $330 you would pay for the MOOG. Then you get into features/benefits blah, blah, blah. I have been using my H9 for phase and took the Phase 90 off the board. Yet another more expensive option. Taking the big money pedals out of the equation I would go with a BOSS Boss PH-3, there is something about Digitech that makes my sack itch.

Retro Sonic will do all of the MXR sounds, not sure about EHX. They run about $150 and come in a MXR-size box, so more affordable and smaller than a Moog.

Re: Pedal lineup of Amazeballs flexibility

I think I want one of these. I don't know how versatile it is, but it looks like a piece of Russian lab equipment from the 50's, so there's that.
