Pedal order

Re: Pedal order

I'd put the Fat Boost last in the chain as an overall volume boost for solos etc UNLESS you use amp distortion too?

Re: Pedal order

Thanks for the clarification, Erik. I had no idea they required a buffer.

No problem, Keith. It really all depends on the pedal that is after it, if any. The input of a guitar amp is usually very high impedance, and like I mentioned, most pedals these days are as well. Put in those instances where the input of the next pedal is low impedance, that is where you want that buffer if your wah doesn't have one. If it does, it should be fine.

Re: Pedal order

Once again thanks for all the help...
Also, my wha is one of the Dunlop Classics with the fasel and I believe true bypass so is that buffered or not?

Re: Pedal order

I believe the Crybaby Classic does have an input buffer, I'm not sure about the output buffer though. I know my Rev. E board has neither. See how it behaves where you want it and go from there.

Another option is to put another pedal that has buffered bypass (like Boss or Ibanez) between the wah and Fuzz Face. That'll take care of the problem right away.
