Me too :naughty: Got a new one on the way, with power supply, no tax and free shipping... couldn't pass it up....I am sold![]()
CLASSIC piece of kit, I prefer it to the aLeX, or however it's spelled!I use a LXP-1 right now
It is a relay bypass on the Hardwire...not some dumb switch with too many rows on it![]()
Always loved Lexicon units....nothing but good tones for guitar.CLASSIC piece of kit, I prefer it to the aLeX, or however it's spelled!
Verbzilla or EHX hands down
The Verbzilla is a bit more versatile overall and has a great plate and vintage spring sound as well as a range of others. Darn good for the money
The Holier Grail I really dig as well. Its just a classic spring sound. Not quite as versatile but what it does it does really good. Just sounds "right"
:naughty: That's what happens when come come to the SD forum... I have some experience in this curiosity thing tooGee thanks .... now I have to try another pedal. I've only had the Zilla for a few months.
I have only worked with expensive rack mount Lexicon products - not my own, but in recording studios. The pedal does a good job of getting the Lexicon mojo with low noise. It's probably not a studio quality unit but it is definitely suitable for a quality live sound. I can't really estimate how close this sounds to one of the less expensive rack mount units since I have not heard them.Is the Hardwire anything like the rackmount Lexicon reverbs?
