Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

Never heard of this site thanks for the great tip keep them coming.

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

I used this when I got my board. I thought it was really helpful.

Here's another one I did, out of boredom. Last board for the night. PB 4.jpg Oh, and to cap off the night, here's a picture of Alvin and Simon with the expression "oh my god" on their faces when they see these boards. Alvin and Simon.jpg

By drilling a couple of holes the Pedal Power PS can be mounted beneath the board. Mine is under the MXR EQ in upper left corner, which is the start of the chain.

The toughest part was routing most of the connectors underneath. I used self-adhesive UT Wire D-Wings (about $6 for a bag of 18 on Amazon).

Nurse. He's in the wrong room again.

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

Should the whole string be elsewhere? I was just responding to the OP...

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

You know all the Voodoo Labs power supplies mount underneath the Pedaltrain stuff, right? You don't need to waste pedal real estate on having them on top.

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

I agree, Sosomething: That was exactly the point I was trying to make. I was was puzzled as to why the PS was on top (actually two of them).

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

Nice. That's a cool layout tool. In the process of re-doing my big board and seems like that will help

I think the "correct" area would be the "Amplifier Central" section.

OP had mentioned in the past his concern with getting more exposure; currently there's 205 visitors viewing that area, and only 6 in the Sound Room!

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

The only thing that I have as a gripe with this tool, is the PS mounting. So I've had to mount the PS's on top to where I want them under the boards.

Just don't even bother with putting them on the board. The Pedaltrain stuff is designed to allow the power supply underneath the board.

Re: Pedalboard Planner fun. :D

You could always position the PS where is would approximately be underneath and put what's over it on top. My PS is underneath the MXR EQ in the picture above (it's completely hidden).

Yeah if you really want the PS on the list of effects that you have, because you might forget about it, then sure do what you said, but if you can remember that you need a PS to run the board, just don't even worry about it.
