Well, a ceramic magnet is going to be similar in many ways, especially in terms of output.
Have you actually tried an A8 in the Custom wind? I get the feeling that you are buying into rather large generalizations about amps, magnets and pickups. Sometimes that approach works, but sometimes those generalizations really miss the mark in real world terms.
Regardless, I go back to the clean boost pedal and equalizer as the best option...you don't need a new pickup, a hybrid or a mag swap to achieve what you're after here.

I'm not saying hybrids are bad. Just that, per your original post, a simple boost pedal is probably a better investment in your case compared to taking shots in the dark with pickups and magnets, since you already like the tone of the Custom 5.

Bass bandwidth, frequency, mid output etc ...
Post EQ.
Bass level, bass frequency, bass bandwidth ..
The same with mids, highs and presence. I have all I need to Fine tune the sound. More that I would like ^^.
Once sound is finished/ok I go through a BBE sonic maximizer to enhance the overall, not to much, juste like a mastering filter.
This is what makes my sound as accurate as certain bands on CD.
That's why I absolutely want the base comes from the pickup. Because that's where everything starts. And on a rack system It has a lot more influence than a amp top. Lowering the mids on the amp is curb this one.
My amp sounds good when let him sounds at his best, when you give him some mids when you let it speak .. It's also marshall, who needs mids to sound better. That's why the scoop must come from the pup.

It actually increases the signal going into the preamp and affects the down-chain signal processing just like a hotter pickup would while keeping the original tonality of a particular pickup. Basically, turn it on and you can dial in that "Custom 5 with 10-15% more output" that you're seeking. Seymour Duncan's Pickup Booster is perfect for this and it only has one knob, so it's not like it adds any noticeable complexity to your setup!
Of course, you're free to do what you want. But, I think you can tell from most of the posts here that there's unlikely to be a particular pickup that will necessarily give you exactly what you want on its own. Plus, you can use a clean boost pedal with any guitar or pickup combination...you might like it if you try it!

Clean boost is probably the secret weapon of the true guitar Ninja.
I use a Katana. Everything that you like about your tone, just louder. Either just a little, up to "Dude you've gotta be kidding!"

My issue is that if I use any kind of boost or od, it increases the noise a lot more than if I use a stronger magnet to boost the pickup. I swapped the a5 in my Pegasus and it fixed the output enough where I didn't need a boost. The noise level dropped and I didn't need extreme noise gating. It actually fixed it too much. A8 is too much for my tastes. I'm still trying for a healthy middle ground.

That's the thing, a mag swap alters the character of a pickup and going from A5 to A8 is a big change. A clean boost simply takes the existing character and adds a little "more" in terms of output and drive without entering overdriven territory.
The noise issue you speak of is a different issue entirely and probably doesn't affect everyone the same way. Generally speaking, the boost is only boosting the signal it sees, so if you're feeding it a noisy signal, you'll get a noisier signal out. Not sure what's going on with your setup or if the amount of "noise" you are speaking of would actually be an issue for most players...probably not.

So I speaked with MJ personally.
She advices me to make a 15% overwounded TB14 to get what I expect.
She talks about a special wax after I asked about insulation but I don't understood wich type of wax she mean.

That's what I originally recommended, too. Although I don't know what wax she is talking about, I would trust her, she knows what she is doing.
