I would have liked to have seen presets/functions etc. Maybe I missed that.

My Zoom G3NX will do that - maybe not as well, but more than well enough....And some things perhaps better. My Zoom works better for me than that would I think.

But no doubt Helix is a bad@$$ box is any size.

I like Line 6 for their amp and effects models. I could see myself getting one of these.

Not really. He makes a point of that on his YouTube channel and on TGP. He will only demo things he likes and doesn't let the Manufacturers tell him what to say or how to demo the product. He gets tons of gear to review, and only reviews what he likes. He is not a hired gun in that regard. He doesn't have to be.

I just can’t bring myself to pay $12.99/mo for that. And I use YT a ton.

That’s because Pete Thorn can make everything sound good.

This is my main problem with his demos. If he plugged in his guitar into a potato it would still sound great.

I don’t worry much about his opinion or whether or not it’s paid. If it sounds good, it sounds good. If it sounded like crap and he said it’s great, it wouldn’t matter.

I watch videos with players like Pete, and I think, “Okay, so here’s some stuff that I might be able to do with this gear if I knew how to play worth a piss.”
