Phase issue with JB Jr. bridge pickup in a Strat

I just installed a JB Jr. bridge pickup in my Strat with a coil split and position two is out of phase. It's wired black hot, red and white to coil split switch, bare and green to ground. Is the solution as easy as making green hot and black ground?

You'll split to the opposite coil which will hum if the combination of the middle and the other coil didn't hum previously.

Welcome to the forum!

What are the other 2 pickups? Fenders and Duncans are out of phase with each other, so you'd have to switch the hot and ground on the Duncan.

To keep the same coils as they are split, you'll need to use the white as hot, red as ground and tie the black and green together to use to split.

The other pickups are Fender Vintage Noiseless pickups. The split and middle doesn't hum now, it's just out of phase.

Yep, then wire as I suggested, or reverse the wiring on both the middle and neck pickups.

Wait, they're noiseless? It should hum with a split JB regardless of the coil in the JB unless the middle is somehow being split as well.

I didn't touch the middle pickup, and it's just a two wire pickup. But any way, I just wired it up as you suggested and it is working perfectly. No hum in all positions, split and full. Position two with humbucker is super punchy, I love it. Thanks!
