I've still received no answer from Kellie or Scott on it at the moment, the problem is that I have to
assume that the Phat Cats follow the same convention as the other SDs (which I'm fairly certain that they do) ... they say the a pair of Phat Cats (neck and bridge) are hum-cancelling when on together ...okay, well if I use their standard P-90 wind direction/magnetic polarity (TL/TC-S), then if the Phat Cat follows the same convention as that (which wouldn't be a RW/RP condition), the you'd need a Non-RW/RP Antiquity single coil pup with it to be hum-cancelling. The problem is that that assumes the the phat cat bridge is like the standard P-90 that they make ... (since I don't know *which* way, *which* pup (neck/bridge) is wound in the phat cat set, all I know is that one is RW/WP from the other.
Now, I would assume that SD used the bridge pup as the refernce for Non-RW/RP, and that the neck was RW/WP ...However the ANT. set of P-90s are bridge, TL/TC-S; neck, TL/TG-N ... Which are the same specs as the NON-Ant. pups! See, the problem? That goes against the standard convention of the Ant. pups being the opposite of the Non-Ant. pups. I thought I had a concrete answer for you, but I don't ... I need to know the wind/polarity of the PC bridge to know for sure, and I don't have that info.
If your bridge is TL/TC-S, then you need a NON-RW/RP Ant. single coil to go with it; if you bridge is TL/TG-N, then you need a RW/WP Ant. single coil to go with that one. Best thing to do since I haven't gotten a any info on them yet is to call SD, and ask what the convention is for your PC, and then you'll know. Wish I could tell you more, sorry guy I tried ...
