Phat Cats for PRS SE2

I've recently bought a PRS Santana SE2 hardtail. I don't particularly like the pickups. Having heard a friends Godin LGSP90 with SD P90's fitted, I am wondering how a set of Phat Cats would perform in my SE2. Thoughts and opinions please.

The Phat Cats are fantastic pickups and work really well in a Mahogony guitar like yours...

Re: Phat Cats for PRS SE2

I actually had them wind up a set of Phat Cats for my McCarty that were exact copies of what Duncan winds for the McCarty Soapbars. I like them a lot. Either way, you'll get some great tone.

Don't forget if you buy a set of Duncans and it's not the tone you are after, you have 21 days from the date of purchase to exchange them (assuming you live in the US) If your dealer won't play nice, just call the Seymour Duncan Tech support desk and they'll help you find something else.

What don't you like about the pickups? I have a Santana SEII hardtail and te stock pickups are actually pretty good. They seem to be voiced more conservatively than most stock pickups so they don't have that "nastiness" that some stock pickups have.
