Who here has done this and what did you think of them in a semihollow body? Any comments would be appreciated.

Re: Phat Cats in a 335

I have a pair of them in my Epi Sheraton. I use them for rock, blues, jazz, R&B, funk, and hard rock with no problems. They have plenty of output with lots of clarity. My favorite thing about them is that they let a lot of your guitar's natural voice come through, which is kind of cool with a semi-hollow.

I was looking at Phat Cats or Gibson P94's. The P94's has A5 magnets and the Phat Cats have A2 magnets. I'm leaning towards the Phat Cats because of that.

I'd get a phat cat, and a Lindy Fralin 42 single coil ( if you have h/s/s, h/s/h ). Isnt there a hollow body tele thats Single/Hum?
