I have a couple other pics, but this one looks best to me. One detail lost in this pic is the thin gold piping around the grillcloth. The fingerjointing is identical on both peices. It sounds even better than it looks. :27: :smokin:

Woow, I don't usually like wood cabinets, but those are both beautiful. The look is simple, refined and luxurious. Nice acquisition.

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

I still pine for a Franklin.

But I can't justify it.:(

Maybe if Scott made a 5W model....

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

BEAUTIFUL !

What speakers, who built it, open or closed back...how do you like it with the SFX-03 ????

:D :D :D

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

Mhmm I'm GASing for a half plexi, half 800 Marshall alike now... :32: Man this is hot.

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

Thats beautiful. It looks more like a fine piece of furniture than a guitar amp, though. Nothing wrong with that. My wife might actually let me keep one of those in the living room. ;)

Nice!

I don't think pine would make a very good cabinet at all. Stick with that cherry. It looks super nice!

Gr8 score, man!

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

Very sexy amp . . . I would definately keep that in the living room to show it off!

Re: Pic of the complete Cherry Edana.

The speakers are Mojotone G12H30 clones (IMHO they are just as good as the old G12H30's and better than the current ones). They look cool as all heck through the open back with their british flags and matching blue frames. It really pops from the reddish back of the cherry cabinet.

With the SFX-03, this amp is a thing to be reconed with. I set the volume on 4 on the cleanish/bright channel and then set the tone controls to a sound I like. I can't really turn the gain any higher on the amp because the SFX-03 starts to make the unit uncontrollable on it's lead channel. The rythem channel is snappy and open and gives the Edana a little dirt with gravel. Rythem channel is like old marshall grind. The lead channel cranked sounds like a cranked Mesa Boogie Mk II. It has a vibe/swirl that puts a huge smile on my face.

PINE

Main Entry: 2pine
Function: intransitive verb
Inflected Form(s): pined; pin·ing
Etymology: Middle English, from Old English pInian to suffer, from (assumed) Old English pIn punishment, from Latin poena -- more at PAIN

2 : to yearn intensely and persistently especially for something unattainable ie. "I still PINE for a Franklin"

:D

Hey, you're right! That's a lot better than my idea of having the rest of the furniture finished in Marshall livery. :scratchch

Absolutely beautiful rig.
