Mincer Administrator Staff member Nov 29, 2018 #5 Re: pick ups The Alnico II Pro isn't really a good choice for metal. It is an excellent choice for styles that need dynamics and touch-sensitivity. The Alnico 2 magnet won't produce a very tight or aggressive bass, however.
