Yeah I'm not sure if this is where I should even Put this thread. But this seems like the logical place for it to go.
I Found and old Victrola at goodwill today for $20. Which I thought was pretty exciteing. Its not one of the Crank ones or anything, but one of the later ones. Model 711 V2.
But The kool part is, It still has all the original tubes! Saddly from what I can tell all but One of them is useless in a guitar amp (or at least the amps I have). But I'm not really to sure, as I'm not really to possitive on the whole Tube substitution thing.
I'm planning on selling some of the tubes, Mainly cause I Never plan on even Useing the thing (although it DOES work). I Mainly bought it cause it was in Pristine condition (seriously looks like its Brand new), an cause I figured the Tubes in it would probably be worth more than I paid for it.
So If anyone could gimme some help as to Which of the tubes (Which I'll list below) are Useful in a guitar amp (might just wanna check em out to see how they sound if possible). Or If any of them are substitutes for another kinda tube. Or anything like that. I'de really appreciate the help.
Anyways heres the Tubes that are in it (they're all Labeled "RCA Victor" and then have the model number on the outside of each tube, plus they're all labled "Made in USA". it that makes any difference) ....
