Thanks for the welcome. My wife would freak if she knew, boards like these generally cause me to buy stuff.
Regarding the pickup covers, what's a guy to do? I was given an Epi Les Paul, I want to upgrade the pickups, but keep the original look of chrome covers. Any suggestions? Nickel covers really wouldn't match.

I bought a couple Duncan Nickel/Silver covers from these guys:

I've run into polepiece spacing problems on some covers.

The nickel covers don't look that different when new but will age over time and the chrome won't. I am pretty sure Allparts covers will fit SD's and they have chrome available.
