Pickup for Dk2?

Im trying to decide if I wanna run a tone pickup or a Ba--s to the wall rocker. Most of my axes have tonal options. I been wanting something with EMGS or Invader or distortion.. I originally wanted to go with a 78 or similar to get in that brown territory. I have a pup that is supposed to get that sound in my Patriot Q, but it sounds good, but doesnt get that sound.. Maybe cuz its mahogany...
So, Im trying to decide...
How would a Gibson 500t sound in it?
What does a distortion sound like??
How would a custom sound?? I use c5 in other axes..

custom.. the nastier brother of the C5 who just got out of jail and is lookin for someone to rough up LOL

try it. and get a cool rail for middle and hotrail for neck. or two cool rails (or maybe two hotrails) depends on if you want a fat humbucker tone from the neck or a slighty more single coilish sound.
for the middle i seriously dont know what to recomend cos i dont know how it should sound like nor for what you'd use it apart of clean chords =/

It actually came with a rails pickup of some sort in the neck position. When I change the bridge pup, Im gonna pull the neck pup and see if there are any markings on the bottom.. The guitar was supposed to have the sustainer system, but apparently it was faulty so the guitar was fixed and sold as a second. They pulled the sustainer and wired in this mini bucker. It sounds pretty good..

I guess I could give the Custom a whirl. I have an extra A2 and A5 magnet if Im not happy with the Custom.
