Pickup for Punk ? Help.. 'cause Im not into Punk!!!

Well.... no ... Im not into Punk music. But I have a good friend who's into that thing.

He needs a humbucker to put in his squier... there's already something in there, that actually LOOKS like a pickup, but I wounldnt call that a pickup. :smokin:

So, is the JB a good choice ? He plays thru a HotRod Deluxe, and I think the JB would really cut in the mix thru this amp.

i would agree the JB would be the best if he is going for that overall punk sound. Alos keep in mind, the JB is a versatile pick up so if one day he chooses tolay of the punk and power chords hew ill stil have an alright guitar

In my experience, the Custom takes the cake.
