Hey everyone,
new here.
I am having a major problem.
I have a SCHECTER C-1+, I recently replaced the stock pickups with Seymour Duncans.
I put a Sh-2(jazz) in the neck and a Sh-4 JB in the bridge.
( I had the guitar tech do the coil tap and he also put covers on the pickups)
I am getting a really bad squealing feedback(this isn't your regular feedback) sound from my
JB pickup when I am using the lead channel of my Marshall TSL60.
(I like a hard mid driven crunchy full distortion sound.
So I have most of my Eq settings a little bit past 12:00
My master volume is a little bit under 12:00, my lead and crunch channel volumes are
almost all the way up for that hard driven sound. And I have the gains below 12:00)
It even makes the crazy feedback when I am muting the strings.
I tried standing far away from the amp as well.
The only way I don't get the ear piercing squealing feedback is when I have my master volume way low.
I didn't have any problems cranking the lead volume with my old pickups.
Now, is this just my settings?
or is it something wrong with the wiring.
Or is it something else!?
I really don't know whats causing the crazy feedback.
Also, I'm not really getting any "Regular" feedback.
Any help would be greatly appreiciated!!
