Pickup ID Help

Hello All.
I bought a strat that had HSS conifg.

The H is a TB12L, it is marked with Seymour Duncan logo on the front.
I understand that to be a George Lynch Screamin Demon

The two single coils are not marked either front or back.
They are flat across the top, and measure to about 6.2K each.
They sound pretty good, but I do not know what they are, any ideas?
Could they be a Alnico II duncans without logos? They make those in flat right?

I have no idea as to age either :(

Any help? I can post a picture if needed.

THANKS!!!

Re: Pickup ID Help

They are either APS-2's (Alnico 2 Pro flats) or SSL-2's (Vintage Flats), if they are Duncans at all. The only way I can tell the SSL's from the APS's is by having them stting side by side. The APS's magnets have a slighty different color to them (mine do). Of course, the sound is a dead give away as well.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

OK man, that is the thing, are they even duncans.
it would make sense that they were if the bridge is.
i do not think they are stock because i would guess a MIJ '72 reissue would come with staggered poles.

i need to start investigating who else makes flat pole strat pups

i am going to put up pictures tonite.

and i appreciate even the reply!
