Pickup identification question

I ordered 3 duncan ssl-3 hot pickups off ebay. The company was really bad about handling the sale but i got them none the less. But they came in opened ssl-1 boxes. now i thought that i just got something different, but then i looked on the bottom of the pickups and they have a 3 stamped into the metal. Does this three mean they are ssl-3's or are they ssl-1's. If niether wut does the number mean? thnx

If they have metal on the bottom, they are not SSL-3's...
They should be black fibreboard with a little white sticky label with the model designation on it.
Can you post a picture?
