Pickup Identification?

Hi folks-
Just bought a used Les Paul with Seymour Duncans in both neck and bridge. I can tell that the bridge is a JB, but nbot sure of the neck. It has a sticker on the bottom that says "SEY J". The bridge says "JB" so I am pretty sure of what that is. Both are black.
Thanks for any help.

Re: Pickup Identification?

Now SDs have the model number written on the bottom of the p/up. (i.e. sh-14, sh-1)
Did you buy it from a used music store or did you buy it from the former owner?
Sorry i can't help you. My guess is that it's either a '59 or a jazz, since those are most commonly paired with the JB. (probably a jazz)

Jolly, how the hell did you get that? lol
I remembered people posting about them before. I think they used to actually be called a "Seymourizer" or something like that.

Re: Pickup Identification?

The JB is a JB, not too hard.

The SEY is a Duncan Distortion neck model and used to be called the Seymourizer.

That should be a pretty cool combo.
