Pickup Problems NEED HELP!

Today when I plugged in my Gibson LP my neck pup was a lot quieter, had a static noise in the back round when I played notes and when I played multiple strings, a crappy overdriven sound would come out.

I'm guessing this has to do with the soldering in the pots

My first thought would be the soldering to ground. Just resolder everything and use an iron of at least 40W for the connections to ground (back/side of pots).
