Pickup Recommendation for a Maple Neckthrough

Hi. Second time making a thread asking for recommendation here, hopefully everyone can help :D
My guitar is a 6 strings Schecter Hellraiser Extreme, with maple neckthrough, mahogany wings, quilted maple top, ebony fretboard and equipped with a Floyd Rose. It is a fairly bright guitar and came in stock with a pair of EMG 81/89. Now, i've been through many guitars with EMG in stock that i kind of want to take a stab at something else. I'm aiming for a versatile set that can do clean and full on distortion, something passive with lots of dynamics and clarity ideally as the "dryness" of the EMG is something i don't like. The new pair should have tight, but punchy bass, with plenty of mid and enough treble to round out the sound without sounding harsh or ice picky. I play in e-standard from jazz improvisation to metal so something that suitable to the tuning is also great as well. From watching Keith's demo videos and research, i narrowed the list down to several of these sets:

Black Winter
Dimarzio Illuminator (recommended when ask Dimarzio support)
Dimarzio Super2/Super3/Dual Sound with Liquidfire neck
EMG 57/66
Nazgul/Sentinent

Any of these do you think sound best? Do you guys have any recommendation of your own as well? Thanks for the help and looking forward to see your reply. :headbang:

Re: Pickup Recommendation for a Maple Neckthrough

PATB-1 bridge, JB wired parallel for the neck, use your volume and tone controls for more than 10 and 0.

For versatility, I like the the Sentient/Pegasus set, which sounds more versatile than those pickups designed for purely high gain. If you want to get super freaky versatile, you can add Triple Shot pickup rings for series/parallel/split options too.
