im confused by the "looks like a duckbucker" bit?

I think it's a Lil' Screamin' Demon (like the one pictured here), but I wasn't aware old ones look any different from now.

JESUS! Am I posting in English? Do ya'll think I'm stupid, or just a liar? It's OLD stock - like sitting on my shelf for 10 years, unsold.

Okay, you think I'm stupid. Gotcha.

That looks like a Duckbucker in a Screamin' Demon box. But either way, the pickup does not appear to be a Screamin' Demon, regular or Lil'. Looks like it's been modified? I haven't seen any pickups in the Duncan line ship with gray hookup cable.

yes, youre posting in english, you are just describing a pup ive never heard of before.

the old duckbuckers were hardwired in parallel, yes.

Still not exactly. Duckbuckers and Vintage Rails have always been 4-conductor, designed to be wired in parallel. Semantics, I know.

Edit: Dang! Got this totally wrong. I have an old VR. Factory wired 2-conductor parallel. Sorry folks. My bad.

ive only had one set of ducks and they all came wired parallel from the factory. they are four conductor, so could be rewired, but they came with the red/black soldered together, and white/green soldered together, i assumed that was the case for all the old ones, but maybe not?

No, sir - wish it did. Has a white wire, a red, and a ground. Nothing fancy.

This is new old stock, the pickup has NOT been modded or rewired. It's been in the same jewel box forever marked SH12Blk. Most of this stuff I'm offering came from a store out in western Kansas that closed about 10 years ago.
