Ok.....
So, judging by your specs I am assuming you are going to order a private stock singlecut from PRS. I own a PS singlecut with almost the EXACT specs you are describing (mine uses Honduran Mahogany for the body wood). I have also used all the PRS pickups you are thinking about. Keep in mind that the rosewood neck on your guitar is a BIG deal....it will certainly effect which pickups sound optimal in your instrument. The rosewood neck imparts a "hi-fi" quality to the sound....it expands both the top and the bottom. This can be both good and bad. Clean and overdriven it sounds very 3-D and huge; high gain can sound unfocused.
1) 5708's, #7's and #10's: The 10's are a rare bird; I have only ever played them in another PS. I personally wouldn't get them in a SC with a RW neck.....too warm and mushy with high gain. 5708's are a cool PAF, although I think 5909's might be a better fit with the extra heat they provide. They stay nice a tight and are versatile. #7's are really cool!! I would describe them as a very modern sounding PAF: more midrange and output compared to the 5XXX series and the 'duncan '59 with lots of clarity and a tight bass. They were designed for the SC's.
2) My PS currently has 'duncans in it: Like I say, the rosewood neck makes the guitar "pickier" IMO when it comes to pickups. I have found it sounds best with PAF type or moderate output 'buckers (the OG El Diablo and Distortion are exceptions) with some midrange heft. From the core line, although I have yet to play them, the "whole lotta" set would fit that bill and they are getting GREAT reviews. You could also go Custom shop, but that is a whole other 'ball game.....albeit a great option if you can't get what you want.
I would order your guitar (if it were me) with 5909's or #7's....play it through your rig and evaluate. See what you like and don't like and go from there. Or, maybe it will be perfect!
