Pickup Tape

[Mincer]

The black tape around my CC keeps unravelling- must be the humidity in Florida. Where do I get this stuff so I can replace it?

You could also use old fashioned friction tape.

Dave.....Are you wanting to just maybe re-glue the existing tape?

3M Super Adhesive Spray works great and I've used Krazy Glue also...

hmm, i might have some of that at the store...come to think of it, there might be pickup tape there too..i will check tomorrow..

Try to stay with the stock tape and use the 3M product....I retolexed an amp with that spray several years ago and the tolex is still sticking really well....Spray it lightly,let it set up until it turns white and stick it back down...Simple and great results!

+1 Use Super Glue... Scott at Duncan told me they do this sometimes at the factory to hold the tape in place.
