Pickup to replace DeArmond 2K Single coil

I had a DeArmond Starfire special (big semihollow kinda rockabilly guitar), and their DeArmond 2K Single coils are noisy.. Theirs dimensions are pretty particuliar so I need adivices and help..P 90 will be ok ?(but what about hum?) ? mini humbuckers ?

What exactly are the dimensions on the DeArmond pickups? I remeber seeing them, but they seemed too narrow for a regular humbucker to fit.
