Pickup Upgrade for my Agile 2500 DC

I've had this guitar sitting around in its case unplayed for a few months, mainly due to the crappy stock pickups in it. Well today I ripped them out and went through my Duncan parts box, and came up with a nice sounding combo. Pearly Gates neck and a JB ceramic bridge with 6 hex poles on the bridge side.

To be honest I never liked a JB very much until I heard it in this setup with the ceramic magnet. Much tighter and no so middy as I recall. I don't know how much the ceramic magnet made a difference or the hex poles, but the end result is sweet.

Funny you should mention it. I've been setting up my new Agile 2500 doublecut for the last four days and the pickups were depressing me, so tonight I ordered an Alnico II Pro for the neck and a Pearly Gates for the bridge.

My 2800 came with acceptable pickups, but the 2500's ceramic pups just sounded WRONG. I really like the DC, so I'm going to invest some time and money to "pimp my ride."
