Pickup/Winder ID

I have this older Custom Shop PATB-1 from the 90s and I don't recognize the winder. The specs seem to be in line with the PATB-1. The baseplate looks legit too. The custom shop paperwork looks real too.

I just have no clue who wound this. I'm wondering if it was possibly wound at NAMM or some event. Hoping someone on the forum could shed some light on it. I contacted Arwin from SD, but seeing how it's that blackout zone of the year, I'm not sure if I'll hear back soon.

I don't have a guitar for it at the moment to test it out. I might see if I can put it in my 356 goldtop. Thanks in advance.

Re: Pickup/Winder ID

The address is 601 Pine Ave, SB...actually Goleta...did they have an operation on Pine Ave???

Re: Pickup/Winder ID

Im not familiar with that winder either...

I do have a few questions...
It says PATB with grounded poles.. Was there a version with ungrounded poles, or was that given info that didn't need added?
If there are two versions, what would be the benefits or differences?

Re: Pickup/Winder ID

Yeah, saw this for sale on the 'bay...was curious what "grounded poles" meant!

Let us know

Re: Pickup/Winder ID

The seller accepted my offer, so I'm not too concerned, but answers to the questions would be nice.
