Pickups for Hamer Echotone 335 copy

I'm looking to get 70's and 80's rock tones from this guitar. I was thinking about a jazz or phat cat neck and a jb or 59 bridge with 250k pots. Maple body and neck. What do you think. Thanks

'59 A4 neck. Something around 10-12k A5 for the bridge.

Just put a set of Fralin Pure PAFs in my 335 custom build overwound about 5% from stock. Sounds infreakingcredible! Covers about all the ground I have experimented with so far. And yes 500k pots all the way

Wish I still had my EchoTone. Had to sell it to get some cash for car repairs. Great guitars. While the stock Duncan Designed pickups that came in mine were not bad, I had plans on putting a set of 59's in there or PG's. The stock pots are 500K and I had replaced them with higher quality pots.
