Pickups for My "Strat"

Hey all.
I just recently refound a Sebring SB-100 which is basically just a strat copy. It has the standard strat pickup arrangement with 3 pickups, bridge one slanted. One of the pickups is broken and I want to just buy 3 new ones to transform it to the sound I want. I was looking at the Little '59 in the bridge with Duckbuckers in the neck and middle spots combination. What do you guys think of the sound you get from this? What could I compare it to?

Thanks

Yeah, im thinking about putting 2 Anico 2's ( single coil ) in bridge and Neck, and a 59 single coil fit into the bridge in my 83 jap fender

welcome to the forum!!

if you are looking for classic stratty tones from the neck and middle with a nice quacky neck/mid tone with a warmer fatter bridge pup then you are on the right track

sounds like that will work. but what kind of music do you play, what sounds will you be looking for, etc.?

Thanks!

As for what I play... well, its a mix between blues, blues rock, classic rock, and then just straight rock in the style of Aerosmith. Im thinking of getting an Ibanez AF75 for the blues stuff. I guess from how Jeremy described it these are the ones I want.

On another note by the way... does anyone know how I can find out anything about the Sebring? I can't find anything on it anywhere and from what I read on Harmony Central, no one else can either. I want to know what year its from and stuff but I guess thats impossible.
