That's a great looking guitar. I love the blue with the moto pickguard, black pups and the maple neck.....really, really sharp.

Nice match between the color and the guard and the black bobbins...Looks great!

Ya, the guitar turned out great. I'm in love with the sound and look. I don't understand why most people don't dig the JB in a Strat. I personally was impressed with it's sound performance. Also I only paid $560.00 brand new for the MIA Strat, so I feel i got quite a deal....... I'm pretty stoked. :D

Very nice indeed. I did a very similar project to a strat a few years ago.

Donno.

The JB in mine rocks.

I was originally gonna put an Invader in the bridge because the last guitar I had had an Invader. I decided to bag the Invader idea though because I heard so much about how rad the JB was from alot of people on this forum. So of course I gave it a shot thinkin I probably wouldn't like the JB and I was so wrong. :)

Wow, that looks great! I'm a big fan of creating a great look with body color, pickguard, and pickup covers/knobs. That's a great combo!
I'm thinking of taking my sunburst/rosewood strat, and using a copper moto guard and black plastic parts. Check out my gear page to see my reverse metallic blue strat/engine turned guard/black plastic. That's my favorite thing about Fenders.....all the options.

Very nice - have you retained the 5 position selector and/or split the coils in any way or is it just a 3 position selector that you have in there?

That Curly Blue is starting to grow on me. ;)

That's a keeper!! Nice work man! I like the chrome knobs alot. Your giving me ideas for a new project. Someday I'll own one that nice. :)

Is the routing H-S-H under that beautiful pickguard?

Thanks,

Jon

That's a really nice looking guitar. It'd be better if it had single coils :D
