It's amazing how different the same guitar can look, depending on the light and the angle. There is really no red or yellow on the top....it's Lightburst (says the pickup cavity) and Desertburst according to Gibson. I think it looks Honeyburst....but call it what you want, I love it. Now I just need to find the right color pickguard to install....looks naked!

She's a beaut Jeff. I like the LB better than the CSB. To me it does look LB as the pup cavity says. It's def not Desertburst, and it looks too orangey to be a Honeyburst... :shrug:

Regardless, it's a pretty axe and I agree..needs a pickguard...all Pauls do, IMO

why do people put their guitars on the lawn? Is the lawn alot softer up north or something? Not even my ibanez GAX would touch lawn here in miami!

We outlawed hard grass here in North Carolina right after the Civil War. Nothing but soft bluegrass for us now. Besides, it's on a stand.
