Play, Keep or Wood Chipper?

Keep the Schecter. Warpigs in a bright guitar are such a great combo.

Play the Explorer. Explorers are cool, even if I don't jell with Gibson necks.

Chipper the LP. I've never played an LP I really liked, and I don't like 7s.

This is difficult for me, seeing I have played two of these guitars.

I would have to play the Explorer, seeing I have never played it before and the other two played and sounded killer
I would keep the Les Paul because when I played it, it felt like I've been playing it for years, and it sounds killer.
Which means, sadly, I would have to chip that beast of a Schecter

I would chip any 24 fret guitar over 22 frets. But I'd also play the Explorer (though I would look ridiculous) and keep the LP.

I think I'd keep the Schecter. It's one of two 7 strings on display, and for whatever reason my brain just can't get on board with seven tuning pegs on an LP. Explorers have never done anything for me, so I'd chip it. Which I guess means I play the LP.

The LP with seven strings would go to the wood chipper. I would keep the Schecter but probably not play it like my other 7-string. Even though I don't care for the body shape the Explorer would see the most use.

I'd play the Schecter, just to try out a 7 string as it seems like a nicer base for a seven string to me - even though I'm not all that curious...I've plenty to keep me going with 6 strings.

Keep the Explorer as I haven't played one either but is much more appealing to me than either of the others.

...and chip the LP as it has very little that interests me.

Play the Schecter - just interested in 7 string whammy fun.

As a member of the "small hands" club, I can't imagine trying to play a huge LP neck with an extra string. That just sounds like a nightmare, regardless of what cool electronics are on it!

I played the guitar, it is an amazing feeling and sounding axe. It plays like any other well-set-up Les Paul with the extra boom! After playing Seashore's LP I started my 7-string quest. I looked at the LP7s but they were very expensive, if I could find a good deal on one, I would grab it in a second.

It's funny the way you said that. I too would keep any 24 fret guitar that was less than 22 frets, if just to see the engineering.

Understandable. I have fairly large hands and I don't really do well with thin or narrow necks. 7 string was an adjustment even so. But I gotta say, the neck on this LP is just perfect, it plays so naturally for me... the first time I played it at the store was when I realized how much I had been fighting with my other 7s. Had to have it.

Keep the Memphis (semi-hollow and bigsby? Hell yes!), play the mockingbird (mostly out of curiosity about the trem), which I guess means chip the custom. Although it seems a shape to chip it.

Keep the Memphis - and what the hell would I actually do with a semi hollow Bigsby equipped 3 pickup guitar? I don't know, and that's the whole point

Which means I have to chip the LP Custom Lite, which is paradoxically the guitar here I know I would feel the most at home on and probably like the best
