Played a Fender HM strat today.

It was a really well playing guitar, nice fretboard, body was comfy, the neck was nice too. I heard somewhere they have a compound radius, is it similar to a Jacksons? The super D in it sounded killer too. If I had the money I would probably get it.

Which model did you play? HH? HSS? Floyd? Kahler Spyder?

I was working for a Fender dealer back in those days. Those are killer guitars and I don't know why I didn't buy one. If it's stock that is a Super 3 not a SD in the bridge BTW.

Hss with the Kalher spyder. the shop its at said they'd go 500....honestly wit the way it played I would bypass buying the soloist and just save the extra cash for it. It's super duper nice.

Not a bad deal for that! Will get my mits on one someday, but in the mean time I dropped a super 3 into my fender prodigy.

From what I've heard they have a pretty flat radius fretboard. If it works for you get it.
