And Orange Rockverb 50.
i played them about 2 hours ,tested only Dirty channels (typical me:6: ) ,and tweaked as much as possible.
The Orange had a Peavey Valveking 4x12 Cab (i don't know wich speakers tho)
The Voc AC100 head had a Marshall ModeFour cab
And the Marshall was a combo!
so ,the worst of all was the VOX.I am totally shoked how bad that thing was.The AC30 crunch was there ,but the second Hi-gain channel is tupidly bad .I couldn't get any good tone.Over saturated ,sloppy ,wide and noisy. It was terrible.I will wait till the AC50 comes to the shop.Maybe that sounds better,
The Marshall was typical ,the 4 channels and the foot switch was cool. But it sounds like the TSL100 ,nothing new.I was some kind of excited to test it ,and hoped that that would be the First Marshall that i really like to buy.But i am dissapointed(wich is good for marshall fans:6: )It's 100% Marshall ,and finally with better possibilities.BTW ,the Reverb was cool!I couldn't tell it sounded digital!
The Rockverb was fantastic. It's like a real 1 trick pony ,but the best pony in its circus!(Only Engl Fireball sounded better to my ears.but that's another story).
It was not as dark as i awaited! It sounded nice ,the controls where effective ,and it was everything but loose!
The Distortion was well saturated ,but not over saturated. The fullnes was just right (Not like a Recto wich is too compressed) ,and the Dynamics where amazing! It's like a mad dog!Agressive ,deep and powerfull. The sound of picking was trusting hard ,and the sustain/headroom was incredible!
What surprized me was how cool it sounded even master out on 1 and 2.
Cool Reverb for a head ,and great value.BTW ,i played everything with the same Ibanez SZ whatnot. It had a JB in the Bridge (and i didn't used the neck ,as allways)
Was a nice sunny day.I drove all the day around with my bike (about 4 hours) and tested some amps.
I need to test a Laney tho!:yell:
