Hi guys,
I'm new here... looking for a bit of advice.
I've got a Mex Nashville Tele, you know with the three single coils, right.
but I want to use fuzz without microphonic feedback.
I do quite like my Tex Mex pup's... I can't really fault their tone, just the microphonics! my options are...
I want to be able to go from super crystal-clear cleans to full on fuzz on each pickup selection... there's two of us in my band, and we both switch pickups as well as pedals to get a range of tones for a balanced sound.
I'm thinking of Duncans for the quality... I'm not really into DiMarzios and I defo don't want to replace Fender with Fender, noiseless or lace...
any suggestions would be much appreciated,
P

pot my current pup's in boiling wax
get a lil '59 in the bridge, and some Quarter Pounders in the middle and neck positions to match the output of the '59 (is this so?)
go vintage for 'Tele-twang'... not sure I care about staying true to vintage
or something else???
