Please Help Guys

I have a Marshall AVT150 Guitar Combo Amplifier with DFX (150 watt, 4 channel, 1x12 inch). I would like to "juice" it up, I want it to have a Valve-Tube sound to it, how can I achieve this, is there an effects pedal out that can do this? In other words I want the Amp to Scream, doesn't scream enough for my liking and in my country it's too expensive to buy a new amp so thats why I want to fix this one up.

My gear is a 1959 Gibson Les Paul, Vox Cable, style of music from EVH to Angus Young.

You could try using a tube preamp pedal like the seymour duncan twin tube or one of the vox cooltron drive pedals or have a look at blackstar pedals. but no pedal can substitute a real tube amp.

+1. But, you have to get a tube pedal that cooks the tube really well, not one of those pedals that have a pedal for window dressing, and from what i know there aren't a whole lot of them.
Twin Tube Classic.
Ibanez Tube King
Messa V Twin.

Thats all I know of .....

Speaker swap perhaps?

To me these amps can become slightly harsh. I think it is down to the speaker as much as anything else. Might be worth asking some others who are in the know about these things.
