OK guys, i do not want to sound stupid, but i never knew the duo, the BLACK KEYS use Fender live !

I've been on this (Flikr.com) site for almost 2 hours, and saw three diff. amps on their stages all over the States ! :eek13:

THIS FENDER (4x10 ?) . . . .

. . . some unknow AMPEG amp (could it be a bass amp - but used for guitar ?) and the a weird'ish looking 8x12 (BIG one-piece) Marshall cab, and a Plexi-look-a-like, head !

Back to my question !

It is not a Vibro-King, the black knobs is a dead give-away!
Could it be a Super-Reverb, perhaps ?

http://fender.com/products/search.php?partno=0217600000 - Super Reverb.

But knowing them, they would rather use more vintage gear, as all their amps that was used for recording (and they say it in every interview, when they talk gear) is vintage and obscure fuzz'es, and the amps are verious Supro, National, Silvertone, Harmony and the like !

So, my last question :

Can a combonation of the above picture'd Fender, a 4x10/12(?) Marshall, and some sort of Ampeg, re-create the same type of tones that the vintage amps can produce in the recording studio ?

Man, will i ever have a short two line question for you guys

THANX TO ALL !
