Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

Probably. I could never give up my lawn darts. My turbo outlaw rc car,.my tin oil well with wind up mechanical working derrik and lots of other stuff that for some reason I "need".
lots of things I am trying to sell though ..most of my vintage plush animals I thought I would keep, and other stuff liek that and most of the stuff in the room in the picture I will be trying to sell. I also have two more full size rooms full of stuff/junk/ vintage stuff that I probably want to keep..why I don't know, I hardly ever ever look at it-guess you could say I'm hoarding that stuff, but when it was gone, I would miss it terribly. I could sure use the money from selling it though.

Anyway, I'm thinking if I want more low mids, to get a hot rod Marshall like Slawan..I will have to go back and find your excellent reviews.

Yes sir. I have a few old beta units, half a dozen high end VHS units, and several combination TV/DVD/VHS units and also a few combo DVD/VHS standalone units, as well as several PVR/hard disc drive standalone units. I love those things! Also have a collection of Sony 8mm/Hi8/Digital8 camcorders, and a cool collection ( plus Ive got some really rare original portable units) of old Sony and Panasonic TV's from 9" to 15" size, in fact just bought a mint w/ remote awesome old 13" Sony TV last Friday. All this stuff is really becoming collectible/valuable, and i get it for practically nothing...is this not badass?( the one I got Friday in pretty mint condition);

I've got a really big collection of old 'Dream machine' type am/fm and cassette radios too, and some Walkman cassettes and TV's. I couldn't bear to part with.

You're a hoarder, Jerry. You aren't in control of your own life - your house full of stuff is.

An old 13" Sony CRT TV from the late '80s is neither collectible nor valuable to anyone but you. It's not an antique, it's not going to appreciate, and the money it cost (however little) was worth more before you spent it on that. That thing isn't even worth the space it now occupies in your home.

Are you seriously going to sell anything? Have you cataloged any of it, taken pictures, made Craigslist postings? Because from your pics, it looks like it's all just stacked in a big stinky pile and covered with garbage.

I'm just some guy on the internet, but man... I feel like you need some serious intervention here. You have thousands of posts on a guitar forum but your vintage Marshall full stack is buried behind a wall of trash. Think about that.

Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

if you dont use it, if it doesn't give up the sound you like at the volumes you need, then sell it.
Its just an amp.
Use the gear that you like the sound of, not what the cork sniffers on the internet tell you you should like.

Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

What's the problem exactly? Can't you just move it out and play it?

Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

Dear God Almighty, please feature Jerrys house in the next season of Hoarders.

Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

maybe I need 2 scrounge a vintage Orange, or possibly Matamp , Hiwatt/ Reeves?

And with that reply we've solved the mystery of how your basement came to look like that...

I'll be honest man, I pity you and your heap... must not be easy to live this way thinking this is normal and necessary.

Re: Please tell me about the sound of a Marhsall Full stack

The answer is simple. Turn it up to 10, and open all the windows and doors. Just blow that s*** out! :headbang:
