The Fargen's are plexi styled amps with 60s, 70's, and 80's voicings, and you may be able to get a good deal on one. Also, the Tophat Emplexadors are great, but pricey.
Personally, I think you should just get a used Marshall 50W plexi reissue for around $650 and use it with whatever cab you have.
That would depend on what plexi that is, they too changed somewhat over the few years they where made.but it is more agressive that a real Plexi

The earliest JMP's where just like the last plexi's, just had a metalfront instead.
And the reissues plays sweet, and does not break up before it is played multo loud![]()
