Pod with the 4-button footswitch

silly question, I know. and I'm too lazy to go over to the line 6 forum.

I have a 4-button footswitch (the cheapest one they make) for my line 6 flextone I head. well, I'm likely going to downsize to the pod xt bean that I can use with my crate power block, but i need to know if the footswitch is still compatible.

oh, and if you think it'd be a dumb idear to get rid of my flextone I head for a bean and the power block, lemme know. it seems like the best "alternative" to a head right now. if I get a vox tonelab, I'd need to get a midi pedal; if I got a behringer V-amp bean it comes with that crappy up/down selector and it's probably not built well, and most other preamps are either too big, too expensive, or are on-the-floor models (like boss's gt-6/8) which won't jive well with my vision.

The 4 button floorboard for the flextone wont work with the XT. They moved onto a new "series" of footpedals since then.

I had the same problem when i switched from a POD 2.0 to the XT. I had to buy a FBV shortboard for my XT.

Thank You! and RATS! Although I might be down with settling for a 2.0, given the flextone I has all the amps I'd ever need.
